This is the story of Jos Perreault.
Jos Perreault was my great-great-great-grandfather. So far back that after three “greats,” I stopped counting.

This story was passed down from generation to generation, from father to son, from father to daughter, from mother to son, and from mother to daughter, until it reached my grandfather, whose name was Alfred Perreault. He told it to my mother, whose name was Emma. And my mother told it to me.
